Good news! While Kohl’s has not enabled Apple Pay as a payment method for their websites, customers are still able to use Apple Pay at both retail locations as well as in the Kohl’s iOS app.
Kohl’s also accepts cash, check, as well as any and all major debit and credit cards; they also offer the Kohl’s Card as another medium of payment for consumers.

How to use your iPhone to pay at Kohl’s
In June of 2015, Kohl’s began offering Apple Pay as a valid form of payment; this happened just one year after Apple Pay was originally announced by the company!
To properly use Apple Pay at any major retailer, you’ll need to add your credit or debit card to your iPhone Wallet, first.
Kohl’s allows customers to use their iPhone to pay for items, given that it is already connected to some valid billing method; this means you can pay in mere seconds in both their mobile app and at physical retail locations.
In order to use your iPhone to pay at Kohl’s physical locations, simply double tap the power button on the right side of your phone.
Then, hold up your device to the checkout register and wait for payment to be completed.
Done! In a matter of seconds, your payment should be confirmed.
Apple Watch owners are lucky, here. Given the health-crisis of the pandemic, users of the Apple Watch can follow similar instructions in order to pay for their items with Apple Pay.
Unfortunately, this capability does not extend to the app; you cannot pay for items with your Apple Watch within the Kohl’s iOS app.
However, you can use Apple Pay to pay for items in the Kohl’s App through your mobile device.
Simply select Apple Pay as your desired payment method, and follow the on-screen instructions within the iOS app!
Using Kohl’s Cards and Gift Cards through Apple Pay
Kohl’s also allows consumers to pay with their Kohl’s Cash Cards through Apple Pay, both in the iOS app as well as at physical retail locations.
Similar to how you’d add your credit or debit card to Apple Pay, you’ll need to first load your Kohl’s Card into your Apple Wallet in order to begin using it.
This includes both gift cards as well as Kohl’s unique card, through which customers can earn loyalty points with every purchase!
Once you have your desired Kohl’s Card loaded into your Apple Wallet, you are ready.
You will simply need to follow the same instructions in order to use Apple Pay at Kohl’s, both through their app as well as in person.
Using Kohl’s Pay at Physical Locations
Similar to Kroger’s newly minted “Kroger Pay,” Kohl’s has come out with their own contactless payment method that customers can use at all Kohl’s locations throughout the United States.
This allows individuals to pay for their items directly through the Kohl’s app without touching anything, thereby circumventing the need to use Apple Pay.
In order to use Kohl’s Pay in store, you will first need to link your Kohl’s Card to your company shopping account.
Once you have done so, you will be all set up to pay with Kohl’s Pay the next time you visit.
To checkout using this method, users must tell the employee that they wish to use Kohl’s Pay.
Then, a QR code will appear on the checkout register; in the Kohl’s iOS app, once you select this payment method, an option to scan the QR code should appear.
After scanning, you will be asked to approve the total dollar amount on your device screen!
Once this has been completed, you are good to go!
